Invasion Of The PixelSquad
This Poster was inspired by my small nieces and nephew love for animated movies. I wanted to create a poster design that would thrill them. The animated Movie is called “ Invasion Of The Pixel Squad. These adorable little pixels have escaped their homeland and is here on planet earth ready to take over, but don’t be scared, they come in peace, well some of them do....

The Process:
The creation of the characters for the movie poster was created in illustrator pixel by pixel. They are fruits that represent the different archetypes we see in movies or books. This includes the hero, mentor, ally, herald, shape shifter, threshold guardian and the shadow. I used a typeface that gave that pixel , box type look to bring it all together. The Yellow background with radial glow ties the joyful and whimsical feel of the poster all together.
